It suddenly occurs to me that online customer request lists (like GetSatisfaction) may be bad for small web apps. They may make people vote for features they don’t need, causing feature bloat.
From the customer perspective, it’s like going to an ice cream store and being asked whether they’d like sprinkles for free, since another customer suggested it. Once enough customers vote...
